Alvaro Valles

Valles signed with Real Betis in June after a few months away from football following his February exit from Las Palmas. He made 113 saves and kept eight clean sheets in 37 matches two seasons ago, but lost his starting spot to Jasper Cillessen this past campaign. Valles now enters Betis as the favorite to start, though his role isn't locked in. The club is hoping he can solidify a position that saw frequent changes during a 2024/25 campaign in which Betis conceded more goals than most of their non-relegated league peers. At a minimum, he should have the leg up on 38-year-old Adrian, who started 17 matches last season after Rui Silva's departure.
