2025 Fantasy Outlook
Munoz was an easy pick last season to be one of the breakout players in the Premier League and he did just that. In a system that gives him freedom to bomb forward, Munoz went wild with four goals and five assists as one of the best attacking full-backs in the league. He started 37 matches and has started almost every match under manager Oliver Glasner since he joined February 2024. As long as Glasner remains in charge at Palace, there's no reason to doubt Munoz will continue as one of the most productive full-backs in England, essentially operating as a winger in a 3-4-2-1 formation.
Unexpected absentee
Munoz is out for Sunday's match against Fulham due to a knee injury, according to manager Oliver Glasner. "It's his knee. That's why he can't play, he has to rest. That's why he misses today's game, but we're hopeful that he can return for the Manchester City game next Sunday."
ANALYSIS
Munoz was not dealing with any injury ahead of Sunday's outing but is absent from the club to face Fulham, missing with a knee injury. This is a rough loss, as he has yet to miss a start in league play all season, leaving Nathaniel Clyne to take his role on the right flank Sunday. The good news is he could make a quick turnaround, with Munoz already eyeing a return against Manchester City on Dec. 14 in their next contest.
