Foyth had a fair share of injuries during the 2024/25 season but was a key player for Villarreal when available. He started in 17 of his 19 appearances while racking up outstanding numbers, averaging nearly six clearances per game while racking up 25 tackles and 19 interceptions. Foyth's Achilles heel has been injuries, but if he stays healthy in 2025/26, he should be a regular presence while operating either as a right-back or center-back. Foyth left the game limping in the second half, and manager Marcelino confirmed that he's going to miss at least a few matches due to what appears to be a muscular tear. He should be out for the time being, and with Pau Navarro out due to international duty in the U20 World Cup, it means Renato Veiga should see more time at center-back.
