Jurrien Timber
24-Year-Old
Arsenal
Premier
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Timber is a versatile defender who opened the season at left-back but finished as the top choice at right-back due to other injuries in the squad. He's not a major offensive threat with one goal and three assists in 30 appearances, though he does offer more from right-back where he produced all of those goal contributions playing behind Bukayo Saka. With a full season at right-back he has a path to a handful of goal contributions in addition to defensive upside, as Arsenal finished second in clean sheets in the Premier League last season. Timber's ability to play on either side of the back line should keep him in the XI as long as he remains fit, something worth following as he finished the 2024/25 campaign early to undergo ankle surgery.
Gets assist in win
Timber assisted once to go with one shot (zero on goal) and three chances created in Tuesday's 3-1 win over Inter Milan.
ANALYSIS
The defender has always been able to make his presence felt offensively, and he was rewarded for his effort with an assist on three chances created. Timber will likely be needed on both ends against Manchester United on Sunday, as the team has scored 38 goals but also conceded 32 in EPL play this season.
