Odegaard didn't live up to his ridiculously good previous two seasons in north London, but he still reached double-digit goal contributions with a goal and assist in the final two matches. Odegaard missed a couple months early in the season due to an ankle injury, which is better than a muscle problem. He has a guaranteed role in the starting XI as one of the most creative players in the team, creating 2.43 chances per 90 minutes last season, which was well below the prior campaign. Similar to a lot of the Gunners, if Odegaard stays fit to start 30-plus matches, his production should get a bump in 2025/26.

Odegaard (shoulder) wasn't fit to return in Sunday's 1-1 draw against Manchester City, coach Mikel Arteta confirmed in a press conference, according to Football London. "Martin wasn't fit enough to be here."

Odegaard was forced off in Saturday's 3-0 victory against Nottingham Forest with a shoulder injury similar to his previous one, coach Mikel Arteta confirmed in a press conference. "Yes, very similar. I don't know if it's exactly the same place but it's a very similar injury. He wasn't comfortable continuing, he's played two games with Norway, unfortunately he cannot carry on today. So we have to assess him with the doctors and see but I'm sure he will try his best to be fit for Tuesday. No, I don't think that. I'm not an expert but they weren't concerned at that level at all.
