2025 Fantasy Outlook
Aina was a mainstay for Nottingham Forest much of the 2024/25 season, putting his mark on the right-back spot after only missing three games, all of which were due to injury. He managed over 3,000 minutes on the right flank, fourth most on the team. He was effective on both ends of the pitch, registering 33 interceptions, 55 tackles and 106 clearances to go with 59 crosses. His upside is limited by Forest's defensive nature, which resulted in just two goals and one assist for Aina. At a minimum, more clean sheets will be available, making him plenty relevant as a full-back.
Not ready to return yet
Aina (hamstring) "is still a bit of time" away from being an option for boss Sean Dyche, per Katie Stafford of BBC Sport.
ANALYSIS
Aina has missed most of the season since he was injured in September, and it looks unlikely he'll appear in 2025. The full-back, who was a regular participant over the previous campaign, recorded just 270 minutes of play in the early stages of the 2025/26 period. Nicolo Savona will aim to retain the starting spot while Aina works on his recovery.

Man City showing interest?
Manchester City are believed to be interested in Aina, according to Football Insider.
ANALYSIS
Aina has been one of the best full-backs in the Premier League this season, and the defender could make the biggest jump of his career if he were to join Manchester City. However, Nottingham are sitting in a very good position in the Permier League standings, and the Nigeria international is not likely to change teams midway through what has been a historical campaign for the Trick Trees.
