Taiwo Awoniyi

Awoniyi (abdomen) was viewed working in the gym Wednesday, according to his club.

Awoniyi (abdomen) ended his season with an injury, but played 26 times, of which he started three. From 10 shots in his 400 minutes, he only managed one goal.

Awoniyi (abdomen) is improving as he recovers from an abdominal surgery, per manager Nuno Espirito Santo. "He's much better. He's already been able to walk. The doctor has informed us that he's starting his normal life in terms of food, so he's much better,"

Awoniyi (abdomen) is expctced to remain in the hospital for five more days but is hopeful to be able to attend the season finale, accoridng to manager Nuno Espirito Santo, per Paul Taylor of The Athletic. He went to surgery, surgery went well, thank God. He is under observation now, but he is recovering. It has been very difficult because of the concern of the injury; the situation he went through. It's been very difficult, very difficult on us and on everybody. The concern of the injury that he had, the situation that he has been through, it's been hard on us. The information that we have is that at least five days he has to be there under observation, so that everything goes well."

Awoniyi (abdomen) is out of an induced coma and recovering well with his family after undergoing urgent surgery following a serious abdominal injury suffered against Leicester on Sunday, reports Mike Keegan of Daily Mail.
