Top DFS Pitching and Team Stacking Strategies for DraftKings

In this article, I'm going to take a deeper dive into pitching and team stacking options. Let's take a look at our optimizer's rankings of the pitchers for the DraftKings 10-game main slate, sorted by projected fantasy points.

We have some stud pitchers at the top of the player pool tonight with four options priced $9,700 or higher. Yoshinobu Yamamoto stands out as my preferred starter against an Angles team that leads the league in strikeout rate. The Dodgers' ace has reached 25 DK points in three of his last four starts.

We've also starred Will Warren and Chris Paddack in our optimizer. The latter gets a $1,700 discount compared to his FanDuel salary against a White Sox offense that lacks much power. Meanwhile, Warren faces a revamped Twins lineup at a reasonable $7,500 salary. Note that Zebby Matthews and Ryne Nelson rank well in the metrics below.

Cristian Javier will make his 2025 debut following Tommy John surgery and may be on a slightly limited pitch count, as will Chase Dollander. The White Sox are going with Elvis Peguero to open and Tyler Alexander to follow in bulk relief.

Here's how each pitcher ranks in key categories (less than 10 IP marked as N/A):
