Top DFS Pitching and Team Stacking Strategies for DraftKings

*No weather issues expected.

We have four starters priced over $9,500 tonight, with the clear choice being Garrett Crochet. We expect him to be rostered on about one-third of teams in GPPs even against a Royals squad that has a low strikeout rate. Crochet allowed just one run across seven innings in an earlier meeting against Kansas City en route to 30.9 DK points.
Shota Imanaga, Emmet Sheehan and Yu Darvish are also highlighted in our optimizer. Darvish's $2,000 discount compared to his FanDuel salary makes him an obvious value option after allowing only two hits to the Mets last time out. Meanwhile, Imanaga is a good candidate in the middle tier against a Reds offense that has struggled against lefties. Note that Nathan Eovaldi, Bryan Woo, Freddy Peralta and Will Warren all rank well in the metrics below.
Here's how each pitcher ranks in key categories (stats are from the 2025 season only):
Pitcher | Fantasy Points | FIP | K% | Opponent K% |
Garrett Crochet | 1 | 2 | 1 | 19 |
Nathan Eovaldi | 2 | 1 | 2 | 5 |
Bryan Woo | 3 | 7 | 6 | 8 |
Ryan Pepiot | 4 | 17 | 7 | 2 |
