We've reached the final game of the 2025 CFL season, with the Roughriders and Alouettes facing off in the 112th edition of the Grey Cup at Princes Auto Stadium in Winnipeg.
The Alouttes were Grey Cup champions just two Novembers ago courtesy of a 28-24 win over the Blue Bombers, while the Roughriders last participated in the championship clash back in 2013, when they emerged with a 45-23 victory over the Tiger-Cats.
With the available DFS contests for this week being rolled out in Showdown format, there are no positional requirements to worry about, as each slot carries a Utility designation.
With that said, let's dive in one final time this season and see what some of the top options for your cash games and GPPs are!
DraftKings CFL Plays- Grey Cup Showdown
Trevor Harris, SSK ($12,400): Harris put together two solid performances against the Alouettes in the regular season, throwing for 289 and 252 yards while posting a combined 3:1 TD:INT in those contests. Montreal was the stingiest pass defense in the league with a league-low 256.9 passing yards per game and 20 completions of 30+ yards allowed, but the Als also conceded a 68.5 percent completion rate and 26 touchdown passes. Harris is also coming off an impressive showing in the Western Final that featured 305 passing yards and a pair touchdown tosses, and despite the on-paper matchup being less than ideal, he has to be under consideration.
Davis Alexander, MTL ($12,000): Assuming Alexander is cleared from his hamstring injury – and the quarterback described himself as being as much as 90 percent late in the week – he also is a very intriguing play. Alexander flashed plenty of upside during the regular season, eclipsing 300 yards in four of seven games. He then exploded for 384 yards in the Eastern Semifinal win over the Blue Bombers, and he's displayed a nice running dimension over the Als' two-game postseason run so far in the form of a 10-96-1 rushing line. Alexander wasn't available for either of the two regular-season meetings with Saskatchewan, but the Riders finished the regular season allowing the second-most passing yards per game (285.6), the second-most touchdown passes (30) and third-most completions of 30+ yards (30).
A.J. Ouellette, SSK ($10,600): Ouellette put together a standout regular season that saw him compile a career-best 1,222 rushing yards while tying a career best with eight rushing TDs. He also contributed a 35-250-1 tally through the air, and he posted an impressive 31-164-1 rushing line in two regular-season meeting with the Alouettes. Additionally, Montreal finished the 2025 regular season allowing 103.1 rushing yards per game at a generous 5.4 yards per carry, brightening Ouellette's outlook further.
Samuel Emilus, SSK ($9,600): Both KeeSean Johnson (knee) and Joe Robustelli (head) have been ruled out for Sunday's game, and if looking for a pass catcher to stack with Harris, Emilus is certainly a strong candidate. The Louisiana Tech product had an injury-shortened regular season, but he was productive when on the field with a 37-588-2 line on 48 targets over seven games. Emilus came into this season with back-to-back 1,000-yard campaigns, and he also posted nine receptions for 100 yards on 11 targets against the Lions in the Western Final win over the Lions.
Tyler Snead, MTL ($9,400): Snead also makes sense as a stacking partner with Alexander, as the reliable wideout put together a career-best regular season that included 84 catches, 1,129 yards and four touchdowns on 119 targets. The East Carolina product finished the regular season with two 100-yard efforts in the last three games, and although he's been quite in two postseason contests thus far, he produced an 11-122-0 line in two games against the vulnerable Roughriders pass defense.
Stevie Scott III, MTL ($7,800): Scott was a very productive player down the stretch that revived a lackulster ground attack, as he posted 125 rushing yards against these same Roughriders in Week 15, and he erupted for 133 yards against the Blue Bombers in the Eastern Semifinal two games ago. Scott also posted an efficient nine-carry, 48-yard effort versus the Tiger-Cats in last week's Eastern Final, and he proved to be a viable pass-catching option out of the backfield as well (19-155-0 receiving line in 12 combined regular-season and postseason games. The Riders were perhaps the toughest defense against the run this season, but Scott has already proven capable of thriving in this matchup and should have a clear-cut lead role again.
Charleston Rambo, MTL ($7,000): Rambo was used in much more of a short-area role than would be expected this past regular season, as he averaged a modest 10.8 yards per grab. However, the one-time Miami Hurricane put together a productive five-catch, 95-yard performance in the Eastern Semifinal win over the Blue Bombers, and he averaged 22.0 yards per catch on two receptions in the second meeting of the season against the Roughriders. Given Saskatchewan's propensity for giving up chunk plays through the air, Rambo's speed may be a factor in the title clash.
ALSO CONSIDER: Tyson Philpot, MTL ($11,000); Dohnte Meyers, SSK ($9,800); Ajou Ajou ($5,000)
