The college football season isn't even a month old, and already we've seen several outstanding games and standout performances by players from across the country.

While the sport has been dominated in recent years by star underclassmen who leave early for the NFL, that trend may be changing now that players can make endorsement deals and receive a share of the revenue colleges make from athletics. Those changes, along with the transfer portal, is leading to more seniors taking center stage on the gridiron.

2025 College Football All-Senior Team

With that in mind, RotoWire continues its college football betting analysis by choosing some of the top upperclassmen in college football by creating an All-Senior Team. Any senior, redshirt or true, in the Football Bowl Subdivision is eligible.

One of the best seniors so far this season has been Baylor quarterback Sawyer Robertson. In two games, he has thrown for 859 yards, which leads the Big 12 and is second among all FBS signal callers.

After throwing for 419 yards in a 38-24 loss to Auburn in Week 1, Robertson led the Bears to a gutsy comeback on the road against a ranked SMU squad. Trailing 38-24 midway through the fourth quarter, Robertson threw two touchdown passes in the final 5:23 – including the tying score with 34 seconds left in regulation – to force overtime. From there, Baylor pulled off the 48-45 upset over the Mustangs.

At Illinois, wide receiver Hank Beatty is finally getting his chance to shine in his final season in Champaign. Beatty caught 35 passes for 384 yards during his first three years with the Illini, but in two games in 2025, he already has pulled in 13 passes for 236 yards. Beatty also has dazzled as a punt returner. In the season opening 52-3 romp over Western Illinois, Beatty returned four kicks, including a 69-yarder for a touchdown. With Illinois a top-10 team for the first time since 2001, Beatty should have several nationally televised games to showcase his talents and garner more backing at the best sportsbooks.

Duke defensive end Vincent Anthony Jr. has been a menace in the backfield this season. He is tied for third nationally with five tackles for loss and leads FBS with four sacks – one less than he had all last season. He got three of those sacks this past weekend in the Blue Devils' 45-19 loss to Illinois.

In the secondary, California safety Hezekiah Masses is tied for second nationally with two interceptions. Masses transferred from Florida International in the offseason and has shined in both games so far. He has 69 yards in returns on his two picks so far.

BYU kicker Will Ferrin is following up his solid junior season with the Cougars with the potential to improve upon it for his senior year. He led the Big 12 with 24 field goals and 113 points for last season's squad that was in the running for a playoff spot until mid-November. He's perfect in six tries this season, including a 56-yarder in BYU's season opening 69-0 win over Portland State.
