PICKS TO CLICK
Tyler Dorsey Over 3+ Assists (+140 DraftKings)
Saben Lee Over 7.5 Points (-128 FanDuel)
Olympiacos has been hit hard by injuries in the backcourt, and Thomas Walkup is the latest to join the list. With Frank Ntilikina still working into the mix, these two guys are going to be asked to carry the load, and although Dorsey is primarily a scorer the odds aren't bad and he will need to facilitate more. Lee's assist props aren't as easily found, so I'm settling with the points in hopes the minutes are enough to get him there. His odds on FanDuel offer some value compared to other sportsbooks.
Codi Miller-McIntyre 7+ Assists (+185 DraftKings)
Codi Miller-McIntyre 8+ Assists (+360 DraftKings)
Codi Miller-McIntyre 9+ Assists (+700 DraftKings)
I'm starting this higher so we can have some insurance if things go south and he finishes with fewer than five assists again. We can risk the lower units and still have very nice upside. Much like my pick below, I'm banking on guys who can go off at any moment and can gets us 6x in a favorable runout. Miller-McIntyre has been a bit quiet in the assists department to date, with four and six over the first two Rounds, but his role has not changed, and if anything he is relied upon for more ballhandling with Milos Teodosic no longer around. Miller-McIntyre got at least 29 minutes in both ends of the double-game week -- and don't forget he holds the EuroLeague record with 20 assists in a game. He is going to deliver in a big way soon, and I'm getting on it early in anticipation.
Tarik Biberovic 10+ Points (+105 DraftKings)
Tarik Biberovic 12+ Points (+195 DraftKings)
Tarik Biberovic 15+ Points (+500 DraftKings)
I wanted to patiently wait on this one, so I held off in both Rounds last week. However, after going 0-for-4 Thursday I'm looking for some upside. I expected Biberovic to help fill the versatile scoring role at the forward spot vacated by the departed Nigel Hayes-Davis, particularly with the way he performed last season. Instead we've kind of seen him do what he did during the previous campaign. We all know he's capable of catching fire at any moment, and he's a guy I always have interest in laddering on the heels of a couple quiet nights.
Tomas Satoransky Over 10.5 Points+Assists (+105 bet365)
We're going back to our pal Satoransky, who has giveth and taketh from us over the years but we always like going with when Nicolas Laprovittola is out -- which is the case Friday. There are now plenty of players to soak up Laprovittola's usage -- returnees Kevin Punter and Dario Brizuela and additions Tornike Shengelia and Miles Norris -- but with all that being said, I think Satoransky has 25-minute upside barring the foul trouble that gets in his way at times.
