Chicago Bears vs Pittsburgh Steelers
Betting Odds, Picks, and Predictions for Week 12
I'm not sure this is a widely-known fact, so I want to make sure everyone is aware: within the paperwork that was signed to bring the government shutdown to an end, a law was passed that made it officially illegal for OUR Chicago Bears to win easily. However, the important part of that sentence is the word WIN, which is exactly what we needed with our money line bet. This week, the Bears return home to take on Aaron Rodgers (maybe?) and the Steelers. I wonder if Rodgers' ownership certificate of the Bears transferred with him to Pittsburgh?

Bears vs. Steelers Betting Odds
- Spread: Bears -2.5 (-114 at Caesars), Steelers +2.5 (Bet365)
- Moneyline: Bears -142 (FanDuel), Steelers +125 (Bet365)
- Total: Over 45.5 (FanDuel), Under 46.5 (Fanatics)
This line opened at 1.5 last Sunday, and it has steadily risen to 3 before settling at 2.5 universally, largely due to the assumption that Aaron Rodgers will miss this game. At 2.5, 63 percent of the bets, and 62 percent of the money, is on Pittsburgh, but I don't anticipate it going lower than 2.5.
The total opened at 45.5 and has mostly stayed right there. The under has gotten 54 percent of the bets, and 60 percent of the money, neither of which is enough to move the number. In late November, it is always wise to check the weather in Chicago. However, it looks as if the mild autumn will continue for at least one more weekend, as the forecast calls for sun and 54 degrees with minimal winds at game time.

Bears vs. Steelers Betting Picks
Some might call the Bears lucky or charmed, but this team is starting to have the feel of last year's Washington Commanders team. Momentum builds confidence, and confidence wins games, and the Bears are winning, pure and simple. It isn't happening by accident...this Chicago team has talent, is well coached, and has all the vibes going their way right now.
The defense is leaky, yes, which is the side of the ball that is keeping things an adventure. Speaking of leaky defenses, the Pittsburgh defense is nothing close to what it used to be, and I expect Chicago to take advantage. With or without Rodgers, the Bears are the better team with better weapons. Another last second field goal to win and cover? Why not?!?!
