Best Monday Night Football Prop Tonight

Rome Odunze Anytime TD +145

Anytime TD scorers are a tricky marketplace. It's filled with a lot variance, luck, and sometimes flukiness. There were a lot of directions I could have taken this week's MNF article, but one of the main plays I have gravitated towards all week is Rome Odunze to hit paydirt.

Rome Daddy has already notched five tuddies on this season in four games. Riding a four-game TD streak, it's clear he and Caleb Williams have done the Stepbrothers thing where "did we just become best friends?" The answer is a resounding "YUP".

The Commanders have allowed six pass TDs to WRs this year, which is bottom third in the league. Aside from that, this contest has a projected total of 49.5, which means we could be seeing some scoring. There are enough weapons on the Bears that will occupy the attention of the Washington defense. Granted, Odunze is on that list, but the presence of DJ Moore should keep the defense honest, so there should be a lot of winnable opportunities for Odunze. With Chicago currently a dog of 5.5 points, there may also be a need to consider some throwing in this one, potentially leading to an increase in volume.

Rome Daddy is averaging over eight targets per game thus far in 2025. His 27.8% red zone target share is currently #15 in the NFL. I'd be surprised if one of them doesn't result in him putting the ball in the end zone.

Pick: Rome Odunze TD +145 (FanDuel)
