2025 Fantasy Outlook
Nabers arguably surpassed expectations for even a sixth overall pick last year, catching 109 passes in 15 games despite being one of the youngest players in his draft class. If not for a concussion costing him Weeks 5 and 6, he would've led the NFL in targets and set a rookie record for receptions. As is, Nabers finished second among WRs in targets rate (32.4 percent of routes) and third in receptions, although the yardage numbers were less impressive (11.0 per catch, 7.1 per target) for reasons that mostly seem to be no fault of his own. The concern for fantasy is that Nabers may be in a bad situation again this season, catching passes from Russell Wilson, Jameis Winston and/or Jaxson Dart. There aren't many concerns about Nabers himself, with the strong rookie year supporting pre-draft expectations that his 4.35 speed would play equally well as a downfield threat and as a YAC weapon. The combination of elite speed and agility in a thick frame (6-0, 200) is reminiscent of Cincinnati's Ja'Marr Chase, who offers a fair comparison for Nabers' ceiling if ever paired with a top passer. For now, we'll likely have to settle for big-time volume in a subpar offense, hoping Nabers' freakish talent shines through often enough to pay off a hefty draft price. Read Past Outlooks

Nabers caught only two of five first-half targets for 23 yards as Russell Wilson mustered only 58 passing yards in his first two quarters as the Giants' quarterback. Things didn't get much better for the Giants on offense in the second half, though the cream rose to the top with Nabers finishing as the team leader in targets and receiving yards. New York doesn't seem to have upgraded at the quarterback position with the switch from Daniel Jones to Wilson, but it may not be long until Nabers is catching passes from rookie first-round pick Jaxson Dart if things don't pick up offensively. Wilson is likely to remain the starting quarterback in Week 2 at Dallas.

2024 Fantasy Outlook
Nabers was the second WR taken in the 2024 Draft, going sixth overall to a Giants team that was widely rumored to be interested in quarterbacks. He'd be a consensus WR1 in many other draft classes, but Marvin Harrison was the popular favorite for a loaded 2024 class. Nabers has looked the part since his initial year at LSU in 2021, when he started six of 11 games and had 417 receiving yards as an 18-year-old true freshman (after missing his senior season of high school due to a declined transfer waiver, no less). Nabers then progressed to 1,017 receiving yards as a sophomore and 1,569 as a junior, comfortably outproducing teammate Brian Thomas (also a first-round pick) in every key category besides touchdowns. Nabers scored 14 of those in 2023 to help QB Jayden Daniels win the Heisman Award, with highlights including a 13-239-2 receiving line against Miss. St. and a 10-171-1 showing at Alabama. Listed at 6-0, 200, Nabers is about 3-4 inches and 10-15 pounds shy of Harrison and fellow rookie Rome Odunze, but the LSU product is probably the fastest of the three and also the best YAC threat. While he didn't test at the combine, Nabers reportedly posted a 4.44-second 40-yard dash and 38-inch vertical... back in 2020 when he was still in high school. He should immediately become the Giants' No. 1 receiver ahead of Wan'Dale Robinson, Darius Slayton and Jalin Hyatt, albeit in an offense that has Daniel Jones (ACL) and Drew Lock at quarterback.
