2025 Projections
Moving up draft boards
Henderson is moving up draft boards and could be selected in the first round, NFL Draft analyst Todd McShay suggests.
ANALYSIS
Henderson averaged a whopping 7.0 yards per rush attempt in 2024 and had a breakaway yardage percentage that ranked fifth among running backs with at least 100 carries. Henderson didn't fumble once during his four seasons at Ohio State and proved to be an asset as a receiver, compiling 77 catches for 833 yards and six touchdowns during his college career. The primary knock on Henderson is his durability, as he missed significant time in 2022 and 2023, but he played all 16 games in 2024, albeit while amassing only 171 touches along the way. Henderson figures to test well at the NFL Combine, which could result in a further boost to his draft stock.

Adds visits to Denver, Pittsburgh
Henderson visited the Broncos on Wednesday after visiting the Steelers on Tuesday, Mike Klis of Denver 9 News reports.
ANALYSIS
Klis notes that Henderson's ability to contribute as both a rusher and a pass catcher makes the running back out of Ohio State a strong fit for Broncos coach Sean Payton's system. Henderson posted two seasons with at least 1,000 rushing yards and 27 receptions at Ohio State. The Broncos and Steelers have the 20th and 21st picks in the 2025 NFL Draft, which suggests that Henderson could be a target for teams in the back half of the first round.
