2025 Fantasy Outlook
The Seahawks selected Knight in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, so it wasn't a surprise that he began his rookie season primarily as a special teams contributor. By midseason, though, the Seahawks had had enough of the shoddy LB work of Tyrel Dodson and released him following Week 9. Knight stepped in alongside midseason-acquisition Ernest Jones and the defense was transformed. Knight went on to log at least three-quarters of the defensive snaps. In nine starts last season, he totaled 74 tackles, with three games with double-digit stops. He has a clear path this season to a three-down role in coach Mike Macdonald's defense and is a prime breakout candidate. Read Past Outlooks
Good to go for divisional round
Knight (shoulder) does not carry an injury designation into Saturday's NFC divisional-round tilt against the 49ers, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Knight was unable to practice Tuesday due to a shoulder issue, but he was able to increase his practice participation over the next two days, culminating in a full session Thursday to avoid an injury tag for the divisional round. The second-year pro played mostly on special teams toward the tail end of the regular season and finished with 57 tackles (37 solo), including 2.0 sacks, and two forced fumbles across 16 games.
