RB Overview
Role Security: High
04/27/25- The Browns drafted Quinshon Judkins with a second pick in this year's draft. It would be surprising if he was not the early-down and short-yardage RB. Jerome Ford will have a great chance to serve as the primary receiving RB. Also, Cleveland drafted Dylan Sampson in the fourth round of the 2025 draft. Sampson could push Ford for work with a strong training camp.
WR Overview
04/27/25- Jerry Jeudy was targeted 145 times in 2024, emerging as the clear No. 1 WR, and he should retain that role this year. Cedric Tillman appeared on his way to breaking out after a productive stretch between Weeks 7-11, but he suffered a season-ending concussion in Week 12. Tillman should easily win the No. 2 WR role. Michael Woods was a 6th round pick in 2022, but he has 12 career catches. He could enter camp as the No. 3, but the Browns will likely have a competition for the No. 3 role, which may include Jamari Thrash and DeAndre Carter.
TE Overview
04/27/25- David Njoku was targeted 97 times in 11 games, and he should continue to be heavily targeted as the No. 1 TE. However, the Browns used a third-round pick to select Harold Fannin. Fannin should be the No. 2, and he may not be a big factor while Njoku is on the team.
