The 2025-26 NCAA Men's College Basketball regular season kicks off its second full weekend on Saturday, and we have four ranked teams on the schedule. That's a far cry from the 11 ranked teams we had facing each other on Friday. The biggest game is BYU-UConn at 7 p.m. ET at TD Garden in Boston on FOX, a top-10 battle.
We're here to help provide a trio of picks on select days throughout the week, hopefully helping you get into the black, as we head into the holidays and the new year. It's never too early to start squirreling away money for March Madness.
College Basketball PrizePicks Picks & Strategy
If you're unfamiliar with how to play, you must simply choose at least two players from any sport and pick more or less based on their projected statistics to win. We'll obviously be exclusively selecting college hoops players, but you can mix and match from various other sports. You can also go with a flex play, meaning you still can have a winning night even if you have one losing selection. Or, you can go big and choose the power play, which pays out higher. However, you must hit all ends to win. Let's get started.

Joel Foxwell, G, Portland
Foxwell certainly flies under the radar for the casual fan, but the new star guard of the Portland Pilots can certainly fill up the stat sheet.
The 6-foot-1 freshman from Melbourne, Australia has hit the ground running in his first collegiate days. He debuted with 18 points in 30 minutes against Willamette College (it's pronounced, Will-Am-It, damn it!, as the locals in Oregon say!) back on Nov. 3. He dropped 23 points on 7-of-14 shooting against a decent UC Davis team, too, hitting 7-of-14 from the field, including 5-of-10 from behind the 3-point line, while adding four boards and three assists with a block and a steal in 39 minutes.
He had a double-double against Arkansas-Pine Bluff last Thursday, too, going for 12 points and 10 assists. With Wyoming allowing teams to hit 39.8 percent from the field, Foxwell should be able to fill up the stat sheet yet again.
CBB PrizePicks Selection: Joel Foxwell, Over 23.5 Pts+Rebs+Asts
Jaylen Crocker-Johnson, F, Minnesota
Crocker-Johnson struggled last time out against Missouri on Wednesday, going for just six points, hitting just 3-of-9 from the field. However, against non-power conference teams, he is averaging 14.0 points with 15.0 rebounds across 26.0 minutes per game in two outings.
Cade Tyson is the leading scorer, but Crocker-Johnson can also fill up the basket, while pulling down plenty of rebounds. He already has two double-doubles, and he has notched at least 12 rebounds in each of his three games.
The Phoenix of Green Bay have allowed at least 80 points against its three Division I opponents, allowing 48.2 percent from the field, and 37.5 percent from behind the 3-point line. Look for Crocker-Johnson to exceed expectations again.
CBB PrizePicks Selection: Jaylen Crocker-Johnson, Over 25.5 Pts+Rebs

Styles Phipps, G, Pepperdine
Talk about consistency. Phipps is not only averaging 9.0 PPG, but he has scored exactly nine points in all three of his games to date. He is also 4-of-8 from the field in each of the past two games, including Nov. 7 at UCLA.
In addition, Phipps has at least five assists in each of his three games, dishing out six dimes against the Bruins at Pauley Pavilion. He has six or more rebounds in two of his three outings, too.
It's relatively early, but Northern Colorado has allowed teams to hit 43.8 percent from the field, among the worst marks in the nation. The Bears are rather mediocre guarding against the three, too. It's a very small sample size, but Phipps should be able to get busy, and exceed statistical expectations, and he should do it with, yep...style.
CBB PrizePicks Selection: Styles Phipps Over 19.5 Pts+Rebs+Asts
