Stat Table Key

Weekly stats (first six columns)

  • Snap = % of team snaps that player was on the field for
  • Route = route share (routes run  /  QB dropbacks)
  • RUSHING = rushing line
  • RECEIVE = receiving line
  • Tgt = targets
  • AY = Air Yards

2025 Season Stats (final five columns)

  • Sn'25 = snap share for the season
  • Rt'25 = route share for the season
  • TPRR = Targets per Route Run
  • TS = Percentage of team's targets
  • AYS = Percentage of team's air yards

The final five columns of each stat table below (written in italics) show numbers for the entire season. Bold lettering denotes especially strong marks relative to positional standards. Green lettering for the weekly stats denotes considerable increases in playing time and/or usage relative to past weeks. Red lettering denotes the opposite a decreased role relative to prior games.

If you're looking for target and air-yard shares that only include active games, you can find those updated every Tuesday on RotoWire's advanced receiving stats page

  • WRs Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison managed decent fantasy numbers despite the Vikings running just 47 plays in a blowout loss. Everyone else? Not so much.
  • QB Carson Wentz and other starters were pulled for the final drive. Wentz was visibly struggling to play through a shoulder injury.
    • Jefferson, Addison and TJ Hockenson each played at least 93% of snaps before the final drive.
  • Prior to the starters being pulled, RB Aaron Jones took 61% of snaps and nine of 14 RB opportunities (64%) in his first game back from a hamstring injury, producing 30 total yards.
    • RB Jordan Mason sunk to 40% snap share and just six total yards on five touches, which is worse than his role from before Jones' hamstring injury. That said, the Vikings were trailing all night and ran just 47 plays. Mason is still a candidate for double-digit carries in more favorable game scripts, though Jones makes for a better start Week 9 with the Lions favored by more than a TD over the Vikings.
    • RB Zavier Scott's two carries and two targets came on the final drive. He didn't play any snaps before that.

  • The Chargers lost three starters to injuries, including two in the secondary (see below). CB Tarheeb Still is expected to miss multiple games with an MCL injury.
  • The Chargers used heavy formations far more often than in previous weeks, yet TE Oronde Gadsden played 79% of snaps (most among LA's skill players) and recorded a career-high 85% route share.
    • This level of efficiency obviously isn't sustainable, but Gadsden also has shown impressive role growth and a strong target rate while sharing the field with a strong group of WRs. He's arguably a top-five TE for dynasty, and worth starting in most redraft leagues even if it means FLEXing him because our other TE is McBride/Bowers/Kraft/Warren.
  • Will Dissly, meanwhile, was a healthy scratch, and Tyler Conklin played just 9% of snaps. It was Tucker Fisk (57% snaps) and Scott Matlock (54%) that took a lot of the playing time that in previous weeks went to Keenan Allen, who finished Thursday's game with season lows for snap share (26%) and route share (52%).
    • The good news for Allen? He made the most of his limited snaps with a 4-44-0 line on five targets, bumping his target rate for the season to a team-high 30%, well ahead of Ladd McConkey (23%), Quentin Johnston (18%) and Gadsden (21%) — all of whom ran far more routes than Allen on Thursday.
    • The heavy-personnel usage wasn't just a game-script thing. Allen played just 26% of snaps in the first quarter, 47% in the second quarter and 11% after halftime.
      • Allen even lost some snaps in 11 personnel, taking 17 of 23 (74%) before the fourth quarter.
  • Johnston finished without a target and now has just 10 over his past three games, after seeing at least seven in each of the Chargers' first four contests. He missed Week 6 with a hamstring injury, which may be part of it, but there's also a strong argument that McConkey and Gadsden are simply better players and will continue leading the way.
    • Johnston should still have spike weeks, but he's looking like more of a WR4 than WR3 for fantasy unless things get back on track in the next week or two.
  • RB Kimani Vidal had career highs for a slew of statistics, with 81% snap share and 25 of 32 RB opportunities (78%) prior to the final drive..
    • Jaret Patterson did have a role before garbage time, but six of his 11 carries were in the fourth quarter, including four on the final drive.
    • Nyheim Hines got a few snaps before garbage time, but both of his carries came on that final drive.
    • Vidal got both carries inside the 5-yard line. The first he punched in from three yards out early in the second quarter. He got stuffed from the 2-yard line early in the second quarter, which led to Justin Herbert throwing a TD to...
  • WR Tre' Harris was the lone wideout for 26 of the Chargers' 29 plays in 22 personnel, but just three of those were passes. He did score a TD on one of them, early in the fourth quarter after Vidal got stuffed and the Chargers were pushed back to the 6-yard line by a penalty.
    • McConkey, meanwhile, got just one snap in 22 personnel but played 41 of the 44 snaps in all other groupings.
      • Johnston played 37 of the 44 snaps that weren't in 22 personnel.

  • RB Quinshon Judkins left with a shoulder injury midway through the third quarter.
    • At the time of his final snap, Judkins had taken 72% snap share and 12 of 13 RB opportunities, with Jerome Ford getting 24% snap share and one opportunity while Dylan Sampson had just 16% share and no carries/targets.
    • After Judkins was done, Sampson played 71% of snaps and took nine of 10 RB opportunities (six of those being targets) over the final 23 minutes of game time
  • TE Harold Fannin had his best fantasy day yet, even though his snap/route shares dipped back down to the 70s with David Njoku back from a knee injury.
    • Snap/route shares in the 70s are still excellent, especially when Njoku was in the 50s. But it is slightly less than what Fannin handled the week before in Njoku's absence: 83% snap share and 85% route share in the bad-weather game against Miami.
  • A bad season somehow got even worse for Jerry Jeudy, who finished with two targets and no catches on 30 routes, dropping his target rate to 19% for the season, with production far worse than that.
    • Jamari Thrash was the only WR to catch a pass, putting up 2-31-0 while each of he, Isaiah Bond (93 air yards, no completions) and Gage Larvadain (no targets) handled snap/route shares in the 46-54% range. This might be the most hopeless situation I've ever seen for WR fantasy value on a team, with the Browns having a terrible passing game that's dominated by the TEs and RBs.

  • RB Rhamondre Stevenson got shut down by a tough defense, but he played 85% of snaps before the final 7:50 of game time, taking 16 of 23 RB opportunities (70%).
    • TreVeyon Henderson got just 10 snaps (17%) before that final 7:50, but he took carries on seven of those, gaining 62 yards in the process. He had gains of 12 and 18 on the opening drive, followed by gains of 6 and 27 on the first drive of the third quarter.
      • Unfortunately for Henderson, he lost a fumble deep in Cleveland territory with five minutes left in the game. It didn't matter at that point in terms of winning or losing, but the fumble might impact Henderson's role next week (or not... it hasn't really hurt Stevenson, after all).
    • Terrell Jennings played the final five snaps of the game, taking the field for two carries and three kneel-downs after not playing at all beforehand (his role was strictly garbage time, with Henderson and Stevenson sharing work early in the fourth quarter while trying to put the game away).
  • WR Mack Hollins got a bit more playing time than usual, including 81% snap share in the first quarter. He led the team in targets (seven) and receiving yards (89), but the playing time increase was less than you might think, as he'd already been playing a good bit (and just not seeing the ball much), including 67% snap share and 50% route share in Week 1.
    • Hollins still has a target rate of just 16%, which is in line with the low numbers he's posted in previous chances with extended playing time.
  • WR Stefon Diggs scored his first TD for the Patriots, right after I mentioned how he hadn't been on the field much near the goal line. It was a one-yard score midway through the third quarter, after he had an eight-yard gain the play before to bring the ball right down to the goal line.

  • RB Kyle Monangai took a significant portion of the backfield work again, getting nearly as many snaps (45%) and one more route than D'Andre Swift, though Swift still took 13 of the 20 RB opportunities (65%) and scored a TD.
    • That's back-to-back weeks with Swift being only slightly ahead (or not at all) in snap/route share. Each RB has three targets over that span, but Swift does have a safe edge in carries (30 to 20). We don't know if this is more about the team trusting Monangai or Swift playing through a groin injury, but there's been no sign of trouble when Swift is on the field (he's been one of the few bright spots for Chicago's offense the past few weeks).
  • WR Rome Odunze got back on track, rebounding from a two-game slump to put up 7-114-0 on a team-high 10 targets while accounting for nearly half of the team's air yards.
  • TE Colston Loveland handled 81% snap share and 77% route share with Cole Kmet (back) inactive, but the rookie finished with just 3-38-0 despite gaining 18 yards on a play-action pass to the flats on the first snap of the game.
    • Loveland got five targets, but in a game where three of Chicago's WRs had seven or more.
  • WR Luther Burden left with a concussion, which didn't really impact playing time for any of the main guys, as the Bears just put Devin Duvernay into Burden's role.

  • RB Derrick Henry never broke the big one, but he had favorable game script for the first time in a while and took advantage with a 21-71-2 rushing line on 61% snap share.
    • That said, RB Keaton Mitchell had a non-garbage-time role for the first time this year, with four carries for 43 yards (25, 3, 13, 2) on 10% snap share.
  • WR Zay Flowers got nine targets on a day when no other Raven saw more than four. His receiving shares remain at a career-high level, though not quite where they were through the first couple games. It'll be interesting to see where he lands in fantasy once Lamar Jackson (hamstring) is back, as the Ravens are very much treating Flowers like the far-and-away No. 1 targets through two months. But they still have other guys who demand usage, arguably.
  • TEs Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely both finished a bit above 50% for snap and route shares, essentially reflecting their pre-bye roles. They combined for five targets and 42 yards.

  • RB James Cook played 54% of snaps through three quarters, with 19 of Buffalo's 26 RB opportunities (73%). He put up a 19-216-3 rushing line, and didn't play at all in the fourth quarter.
  • WR Khalil Shakir turned a short pass into a 54-yard TD, his third score in seven games (after just four all of last season). His numbers are otherwise very similar to last year's, with a slight decrease in volume.
    • Joshua Palmer's absence with a knee/ankle injury didn't have much fantasy impact, with his usual snaps (not that many) mostly going to Elijah Moore.
  • TE Dalton Kincaid slumped to 22% snap share, 48% route share and three targets with the Bills dominating throughout. Kincaid is averaging 11.5 YPT but just 4.5 targets per game, so it perhaps shouldn't be surprising that he finally put up a poor fantasy score (after recording at least 7.7 PPR points in each prior appearance).

  • RBs Chuba Hubbard and Rico Dowdle alternated drives for a second straight week, with Hubbard again getting the start. The snap/route shares favored Hubbard for a second straight week, and this time the carries/touches went in his favor as well, including a three-yard TD run to cut the deficit to a mere 33 points with 10:37 remaining in the fourth quarter.
    • Hubbard wasn't subbed in specifically for the TD carry; it was part of his drive.
    • Dowdle nonetheless made his case to handle more work again, with gains of 5, 5, 24, -1, 12, 6 and 2 on his eight carries (54 yards total), while Hubbard's longest run went for just five yards.
      • At halftime, Dowdle had taken 50% of snaps, with seven carries for 52 yards and no targets. Hubbard also had 50% of snaps and seven carries with no targets, gaining just 17 yards.
        • Hubbard's additional playing time in the second half was just a product of his drives lasting longer than Dowdle's (again). And it sounds like Dowdle could get more work moving forward (see below).
  • WR Tetairoa McMillan accounted for 10 of Carolina's 25 targets (40%) and 109 of the 184 air yards (59%) in Andy Dalton's first start of the year
    • Xavier Legette, meanwhile, failed to build on his big Week 7, finishing with just three targets and 17 yards despite 94% route share.
    • Jalen Coker took over as the clear No. 3 receiver in his second game back from IR, handling 66% snap share, 77% route share and four targets (3-36-0).
      • Jimmy Horn (shoulder) playing just three snaps after halftime may have also been a small factor in Coker's playing-time boost.
  • Four starters left early with injuries, including two offensive linemen and star defensive lineman Derrick Brown (knee).
    • Brown left in the fourth quarter with an injury that he doesn't believe to be serious. Most of Buffalo's rushing yardage came long before Brown left.

  • RB Jaylen Wright had a small role, taking three carries prior to the final drive. He then got touches on seven consecutive plays on that last series.
    • RB De'Von Achane took 74% of snaps before the final drive, with 25 of 39 RB opportunities (64%).
      • Ollie Gordon had 34% snap share, 10 carries and one target, gaining 66 total yards and a TD.
      • Wright had just 7% snap share before the final drive, with three carries for seven yards and no targets.
    • The box score shows both Gordon and Wright with larger roles, but Achane was still the clear engine of the offense, and he'd almost certainly have taken a larger share of the RB touches if there hadn't been such an absurd cumulative number to go around (37 carries and nine targets).
  • WR Malik Washington scored his first receiving TD in the NFL, with 36 yards being his season high for receiving even though it was his fifth time with at least five targets (he's still at just 3.6 YPT for the season, with a 4.1 aDOT).
  • Miami's top three safeties all left early with injuries, as did starting cornerback Storm Duck (knee). It didn't matter Sunday, but it might on Thursday against the Ravens, especially if Lamar Jackson (hamstring) actually plays this week.

  • The Falcons ran just 19 plays in the first half and 49 overall, getting thoroughly dominated.
  • With Drake London (hip) inactive, Darnell Mooney and David Sills had every-down roles while KhaDarel Hodge (67% snap share, 72% route share) surprisingly got eight targets and 82 air yards as the No. 3 receiver (but finished with just 3-31-0).
    • TE Kyle Pitts was the only Falcon to have a decent fantasy day, with a 9-59-0 receiving line keeping his target share and target rate for the season above 20 percent.
  • RB Bijan Robinson lost a fumble in the third quarter. He played after that but got just two more touches, before handing things over to Tyler Allgeier and Nate Carter.
    • Carter's two carries were the final two plays of the game. He had no role beforehand.
    • Allgeier got three of his six touches, including the TD, on the penultimate drive.
    • Robinson took 81% of snaps before the final two drives, with 12 of 15 RB opportunities (80%). The only cause for concern is ATL's lousy QB play, be it with Cousins or Penix.

  • WR Jauan Jennings had a bad drop and still isn't playing well, perhaps impacted by his cracked ribs, but he did get more targets (seven) and air yards (118) than both Kendrick Bourne and George Kittle for a second straight week.
    • Jennings has 14 targets over the past two games, tied with Christian McCaffrey for the team lead. Kittle has seven. Bourne has six. Everyone else has combined for 16.
    • Jennings' usage is promising, but his performance hasn't been, and the 49ers seemingly hope to get Ricky Pearsall (PCL) back in the lineup within the next few weeks (and then Brandon Aiyuk at some point between mid-November to early December, probably). The window for Jennings to get more than 20% target share may close soon, if he has to compete with Pearsall and/or Aiyuk in addition to CMC, Kittle and (kind of) Bourne.
  • Kittle topped 80% for both snap and route shares for a second straight week. The receiving volume still wasn't great, but his TD catch right before halftime was impressive.
  • RB Christian McCaffrey finally met his match, facing an elite defense on the road. Granted, he put up huge games at the Seahawks and at the Rams earlier this season, though largely based on receiving production rather than running the ball effectively.
    • CMC is down to a career-low 3.5 YPC for the season, while his average of 10.0 yards per catch is a career high.

  • RB Nick Chubb re-emerged with 43% snap share and 19 of 36 RB opportunities after barely playing in the second half the previous week at Seattle.
    • Chubb may be highly game-script dependent, but it was premature to declare Woody Marks as the new lead back. It looks like a 1A/1B situation, with some doubt still about who is A and who is B. I'd rather have Marks for fantasy because of the receiving potential, FWIW.
    • Chubb got the final five carries of the game, but only after Marks took the first four carries of the fourth quarter to help set up a FG that gave the Texans an 11-point lead.
  • WR Jaylin Noel made the most of limited playing time for a second straight week, with a 5-63-0 receiving line on 37% snap share and 41% route share.
    • Jayden Higgins and Xavier Hutchinson, meanwhile, both topped 70% for both snap and route shares. And both scored touchdowns. Higgins led the team in targets and air yards.
    • In other words, Noel's excellent play the past two weeks may not translate into the role that it seemingly should. That's especially true because Nico Collins (head) and Christian Kirk (hamstring) should be back fairly soon, though it's at least fair to say that Noel has gained a bunch of value in dynasty leagues. Higgins looks like the better redraft asset still, in my opinion, though Noel's per-route target rate (23%) is much higher.
  • TE Dalton Schultz appeared to suffer an upper-body injury after a catch in the third quarter. He continued to play, handling a 56% snap share in the fourth quarter. He could still miss practice time.

  • RB Cam Skattebo suffered an ankle dislocation in the second quarter, not long after scoring a receiving TD.
    • Skattebo will miss the rest of the season, and possibly the start of next year. It's unclear at this point how the specifics of his injury compare to Chris Godwin's.
  • RB Tyrone Tracy played 78% of snaps after Skattebo's exit, with nine of 12 RB opportunities (75%) and the rest going to Devin Singletary.
    • Tracy should be a functional RB2, even in a lousy, injury-riddled offense, if he captures a similar share of the backfield work to what he handled late last season (/what Skattebo saw recently).
    • Tracy got both RB touches on the final drive when the Giants were down 38-13. All three of Singletary's touches came on a 15-play drive in the third quarter, after Skattebo's exit. Singletary might not have gotten (m)any touches if the Giants hadn't had such a long drive, where fatigue became a factor for Tracy and others.
  • I won't bother counting the exact number, but Lil'Jordan Humphrey has run something like 60 routes since his last reception, with two targets in that stretch. He got 76% route share even with WR Darius Slayton back in the lineup.
    • Slayton led the team in targets (five) and air yards (71) but didn't quite have the every-down role he's filled under Brian Daboll in the past. Slayton finished with a 72% percent snap share and 69% route share in his first game back from a hamstring injury. He probably needs to be in the 90s to warrant fantasy consideration; he may get there next week in his second game back, to be fair.
      • Slayton appeared to score a 68-yard TD on a 4th-and-11 in the fourth quarter, but he was called for offensive pass interference. It was the correct call, but something WRs usually get away with.

  • RB Saquon Barkley took 18 touches for 174 yards and two TDs before exiting at the end of the third quarter with a groin injury. He scored a 65-yard TD on his first carry of the game, and picked up 28 yards on the final play of the third quarter (the play on which he was injured).
    • Prior to Barkley's exit, he'd taken 81% of snaps, with 14 carries and five targets.
      • Will Shipley: 12% of snaps, 1 carry, 0 targets (zero yards)
      • Tank Bigsby: 7% of snaps, 2 carries, 0 targets (18 yards)
    • When Barkley left, Bigsby came in and had gains of 29 and 8 yards on back-to-back plays, followed by a 3-yard carry for Shipley, a 3-yard carry for Bigsby, and then a 17-yard TD pass to Goedert.
      • On the next drive, Bigsby had gains of 10, 7 and 12 before giving way to Shipley, who got stuffed for a loss of one before Jalen hurts connected with Jahan Dotson for a long TD.
      • On the final drive, Bigsby ran for 17 yards on the first play, followed by three straight kneel-downs.
    • Ignoring the kneel-downs, Bigsby took 79% of snaps in the fourth quarter, with seven of nine RB opportunities. That doesn't necessarily mean he'll dominate work if Barkley misses time, but it is possible. Bigsby looked fantastic Sunday, repeatedly ripping off long runs, and the Eagles gave up fifth- and sixth-round picks to get him in September.
  • With WR AJ Brown (hamstring) inactive, Jahan Dotson handled 96% route share and scored a 40-yard TD on one of his two targets.
  • WR Darius Cooper got 67% of snaps in 11 personnel and ran nearly twice as many routes (38%) as John Metchie (21%). Neither was targeted.

    • Hall took 57% of snaps and 21 of 33 RB opportunities (64%), which is a solid role, but not quite where he was a few weeks ago in terms of the share of New York's backfield.
    • That said, Hall had a five-yard TD run and a four-yard TD pass on the Jets' only snaps from the 5-yard line or closer. Davis scored on a two-point conversion, but that was right after Hall had a 27-yard TD.

  • WR Ja'Marr Chase has been targeted on 42.7% of his routes in three games with Joe Flacco as the starter, at an aDOT of just 6.5.
    • Last year, Chase had a 25.6% target rate and 8.9 aDOT.
    • Tee Higgins has been targeted on 17.9% of routes with Flacco as the starter, at an aDOT of 13.8. Last year, Higgins got targets on 25.4% of routes, at a 10.5 aDOT.
      • The production for Higgins has been fine so far, but it seems like he's more of a downfield specialist and less of a volume guy with Flacco (relative to the Browning usage).
  • RB Chase Brown and Samaje Perine continued in a 60/40 type split, with the snaps a bit closer but Brown having a 15-10 edge in opportunities (and 2-1 advantage for TDs).
    • Brown and Flacco got the only goal-line carries, each scoring one-yard TDs. Perine struck from 32 yards out, and Brown's first TD came from 19 yards out on a pass from Flacco.
    • The workload for Brown remains disappointing, but he's averaged at least 4.7 YPC in each of Flacco's starts, with back-to-back games of triple-digit total yards.

  • RB Sean Tucker had more of a role, with Rachaad White playing only 55-67% of snaps in each of the first three quarters (White played 89% of snaps at Detroit in Week 7).
    • Tucker got eight of his 12 carries before the fourth quarter, picking up 33 yards and a TD. He and White each took three carries inside the 5-yard line, not including one that was cancelled by a penalty.
      • Tucker had a 15-yard run down to the 1-yard line midway through the second quarter. The Bucs gave him the ball again, but he was stuffed and the play was called off due to defensive offsides. White then took three straight carries from the 1-yard line, getting stuffed each time. The Bucs went back to Tucker on fourth down, and he also got stuffed, which naturally set up a pick-six for the defense.
        • Later on, Tucker got two chances from the 1-yard line and converted the second of those on fourth down.
    • Bucky Irving may be back after the bye, and Tucker's increased role in Week 8 is another point against Rachaad White's value. Tucker may not be a better overall player than White but he's a better pure runner.
  • WR Tez Johnson tied Emeka Egbuka for the team lead with 96% route share and finished second to Egbuka for targets and air yards.
    • Egbuka's usage shares remain excellent, with per-target efficiency being the main problem of late. His unsustainably good efficiency over the first few weeks has now shifted to unsustainably bad. He should settle in somewhere in the middle, though it's not great that this Bucs team seems more reliant on Baker Mayfield making things happen (rather than setting him up with favorable looks via scheme). Injuries are part of that, of course, and also part of why Egbuka is getting so much put on his plate so quickly.

  • QB Tyler Shough replaced Spencer Rattler midway through the third quarter.
    • Shough wasn't any better than Rattler, but the rookie's interception (on his first series) was partially Chris Olave's fault.
    • Shough notably missed a wide-open deep throw to Rasheed Shaheed late in the game. It wouldn't have mattered for the Saints but would've been huge for Shaheed's fantasy managers.
  • RB Devin Neal didn't get any carries, but he did take on more playing time as the game progressed, with 29% snap share in the first half and 57% in the second half.
    • Alvin Kamara took two-thirds of snaps in the first half but finished the game with just eight opportunities for 45 yards, one week after Kendre Miller's ACL tear allowed Kamara to reach 84% snap share.

    • Malik Davis didn't get any snaps or carries until the fourth quarter of the blowout, but Jaydon Blue got five of his eight carries before the fourth quarter.
  • TE Jake Ferguson finished with just one target on 23 routes, while Luke Schoonmaker saw three targets on 11 routes. No major cause for concern there, apart from Ferguson just not being a priority (and thus more of a check-down guy) when Lamb and Pickens are healthy.

  • RB RJ Harvey scored three TDs, with Troy Franklin adding two.
    • Franklin benefited some from Marvin Mims leaving early with a concussion, although Franklin had been getting a decent number of routes/targets each week anyway.
    • Franklin is still at just 6.6 YPT, but with 6.8 targets per game and four TDs from just 358 yards.
  • Apart from the production, things for Harvey didn't look much different from previous weeks. It is, of course, possible that his impressive results on limited touches lead to an increase in snaps/touches moving forward. But J.K. Dobbins was still the clear lead runner, and with strong results again, running for 110 yards.
    • Harvey got 1-3 touches and 2-5 snaps in each quarter, subbing in here and there, but with Tyler Badie still getting most of the work on third downs.

  • RB Tyjae Spears took on more work at the expense of Tony Pollard, but both got some touches in the fourth quarter when the Titans were down big.
    • The week before, Pollard padded his otherwise feeble stat line with four catches on tthe final drive. In this one, Spears scored a late TD on a 4th-and-2 carry from the 3-yard line (not a traditional goal-line / short-yardage situation).
    • Neither RB is worth starting outside of desperation situations, unless the other one misses time or gets traded (or the Titans miraculously become half-decent at some point... yeah, right).
  • WRs Chimere Dike, Elic Ayomanor and Van Jefferson each got exactly eight targets while handling route shares above 85%.
    • Dike was the one who did something with his volume, catching seven of eight targets for 93 yards (one week after putting up 4-70-1 with a long TD).
    • In Week 7, Dike handled 57% snap share and 64% route share, playing 69% of snaps in 11 personnel and not much in heavy formations.
      • In Week 8, Dike was a full-time player for the first time, getting 95% of snaps in 11 personnel and 67% of snaps in 12 personnel.
      • I still think Ayomanor will end up being the better player, and more valuable for fantasy, but Dike has done enough that he nees to be rostered in all dynasty leagues and deep formats.
  • TEs Chig Okonkwo and Gunnar Helm moved closer to a 50/50 split, with the former having a solid game but the latter scoring a TD.
    • Helm is worth adding in a lot of the dynasty leagues where he's available.

  • RB Emanuel Wilson took the final seven carries, with Josh Jacobs not playing the last eight minutes of the game.
    • Before the final eight minutes, Jacobs took 68% of snaps and 16 of 23 RB opportunities, with Wilson at 28% snap share with four catches and three targets.
    • The Packers have lightened up on Jacobs' workloads the past couple weeks, probably because he's been on the injury report, but he still gets a safe majority of the snaps and carries when the game is close.
  • TE Tucker Kraft answered whatever remaining doubts there were about his status among NFL tight ends. He's one of the best, both for real life and fantasy, looking like a not-quite-as-athletic-but-much-less-injury-prone George Kittle.
  • WR Christian Watson impressed in his season debut, with four catches for 85 yards on four targets while handling 56% of snaps and 62% route share (both numbers ranking third among GB's wide receivers).
    • Watson took a few snaps/routes away from the other guys but mostly took work that had been going to Dontayvion Wicks, who was inactive due to a calf injury.

  • RB Jaylen Warren was at 65% snap share for a second straight week, but his opportunity share wasn't quite as dominant as the previous game (when he took 21 of 25 RB opportunities).
    • In this one, Warren got 16 of the 23 opportunities. However, Gainwell lost a fumble in the fourth quarter, not exactly making the best case for more work moving forward. At the very least, Warren safely projects for more than 60 percent of Pittsburgh's backfield touches.
  • With WR Calvin Austin back in the lineup, the Steelers relied on their WRs more and their TEs less, although game script also became a factor in that once the Packers built a lead in the third quarter.
    • Roman Wilson put up 4-71-1 on five targets and 54% route share, surprisingly having the best game of his young career during Austin's first week back in the lineup.
    • Wilson's playing time shares were nearly identical to the week before, with Austin instead getting snaps/routes that had gone to Pat Freiermuth and Darnell Washington.
  • TE Jonnu Smith didn't do much but at least showed that he's still the most consistent Pittsburgh tight end in terms of snaps/routes.

  • WR Terry McLaurin made two incredible catches, one for a TD, in his return from a four-game absence, but he aggravated his quad in the fourth quarter and was pulled from the game before other starters.
    • McLaurin didn't have a full workload before the injury, playing 59% of snaps in the first half, though he looked great when he was on the field.
    • Chris Moore, Jaylin Lane and Robbie Chosen all had smaller roles with McLaurin and Samuel back in the lineup, while Luke McCaffrey actually saw a slight increase in snap/route share (en route to 3-24-0 on three targets).
  • WR Deebo Samuel finished with just 12 total yards and 19 air yards, and he played only three snaps in the fourth quarter, but he did lead the team in snap share (84%), route share (85%) and targets (six) before that final quarter.
    • Prior to the fourth quarter, none of Samuel's teammates had more than four targets (McLaurin/McNichols) or 65% route share (Ertz).
  • RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt took 70% of snaps and nine of 13 RB opportunities (all carries) before the Commanders fell behind 21-7 with 3:20 remaining in the third quarter
    • After Washington trailed by multiple scores, Croskey-Merritt played just four of 16 remaining snaps, with zero carries and one incomplete target. Jeremy McNichols, meanwhile, took 11 of those 16 snaps and got one carry and three targets.
      • Before it was a two-score game, McNichols had zero carries and three targets on 32% snap share, with two of those targets coming late in the first half. He didn't have much of a role besides obvious passing situations, but the Commanders ended up in a lot of those in part because Croskey-Merritt didn't have much luck gaining yards on early downs.
    • Long story short, Croskey-Merritt's role remained encouraging apart from not getting work in garbage time, but this was his third straight game at 3.6 YPC or worse, with no TD during that stretch. I'm not convinced that he's any better than Brian Robinson, or Chris Rodriguez, but it does still seem like the Commanders want to make it happen.

  • WR Rashee Rice led the team in snap share (85%) and targets (nine) while putting up a 9-93-1 receiving line and 2-12-0 on the ground.
    • He looks very much like a strong WR1, though more in CeeDee Lamb's range than Puka Nacua's.
    • Tyquan Thornton was the big loser in playing time at Rice's expense, after Hollywood Brown and JuJu Smith-Schuster saw sizable dips the week before.
      • Brown was below 50% route share for a second straight week and has just five targets in two games since Rice returned.
  • WR Xavier Worthy was quiet relative to Rice and Travis Kelce (6-99-1 on eight targets), but Worthy's snap and route shares actually rose in Rice's second game back from suspension.
    • Worthy has 11 targets and one carry in Rice's two games, producing 101 total yards with no TD. Worthy looks like a WR3 with Rice back.
  • Kelce is up to 12.8 yards per catch (his best since 2020), with career highs for catch rate (77.1%) and YPT (9.9). He's clearly a step or two slower than he was five years ago, but he looks better than he did last season and is benefitting from not being the main focus for opposing defenses.
  • RB Kareem Hunt scored a pair of TDs on 10 touches and 31% snap share, while rookie Brashard Smith had just three carries (and no targets) on 13% snap share.
    • It now looks like Smith's increased usage the week before was nothing more than a product of Hunt's minor knee injury. Smith didn't even get garbage-time work on Monday, as Andy Reid was oddly still giving the ball to Rice and Isiah Pacheco with 3-4 minutes remaining and the Chiefs up by 21 points.
  • RB Isiah Pacheco still played more than half of the snaps (58%) and led the team in carries (12) and rushing yards (58%), but with Hunt scoring a pair of short TDs (including the only RB target of the night, even though Pacheco had 57% route share).
    • Pacheco has now seen a target on just 11% of his routes this year. The Chiefs aren't using RBs much in the passing game, apart from a few schemed targets per game for Smith (which we actually didn't see Monday night).
