For the second week in a row, Nick Whalen was the top picker last week, going 9-5. Kevin Payne and Mario Puig were right behind, both at 8-6. Puig also hit his best bet, as did Jeff Erickson and Scott Pianowski.

There were no unanimous picks last week; majority picks went 7-7.

This week, the lone unanimous pick is the Seahawks -1 at the Jaguars. Three teams got four votes each. Puig likes the Seahawks so much, he made them his best bet.

WRITERCOMMENT
EricksonThere was a lot of commentary about the Titans' dysfunction earlier this season, but the Raiders are in the same boat. I also don't think Joe Flacco is an improvement over Jake Browning — he earned his benching in Cleveland, and he earned getting benched back in Indy in 2024 — this feels like a 31-10 Packers win to me.
PianowskiIf Mike McDaniel has any sense of history, he will try a hook and ladder at the end of the first half.
WhalenL.A. is laying a dubious number on the road, but I have no faith in the Ravens' defense, and the Rams will be fully focused after a massive letdown game against the Niners in Week 5.
PayneJayden Daniels is another week healthier and at home on Monday Night Football should take full advantage of a bad Bears defense. Colts are my second-favorite best bet.
PuigThe Jaguars' defense looks good and Sam Darnold might be marked for regression after an unexpectedly hot start to the season, but the Jaguars lack a power run game and their passing game is prone to cold stretches. The Jaguars' inability to seize yardage consistently might leave them with more difficult down-and-distance situations than Darnold tends to face with a steady, varied run game.
