Best WNBA Bets Today: Monday, August 25

Sabrina Ionescu to Score 20+ Points (+182) vs. Connecticut Sun

FanDuel Sportsbook, 11:45 a.m. CT

Daniel Dobish: Ionescu heads into this game in a good spot for bettors. She has struggled with her shot lately, hitting just 34.9 percent of her attempts (22-63 FG) over her last four appearances. She was 0-for-5 from behind the three-point arc last time out against the Sky as well. However, the past four games were against the Sky, with a respectable defense, the contender Lynx, as well as the red-hot Aces. Against the lowly Sun, Ionescu should find plenty of open spots. Over her last two appearances at Connecticut in early August, Ionescu averaged 29.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game. Connecticut ranks dead-last in the WNBA, allowing 75.7 points per game and 30.2 percent from beyond the arc, and it is 12th in field-goal percentage at 41.2 percent.

Connecticut Sun +14.5 (-110) at New York Liberty

FanDuel Sportsbook, 11:45 a.m. CT

Daniel Dobish: The Sun have been playing good basketball lately, winning three straight games while going 4-1 in the past five, with just an overtime loss during that span. Connecticut covered a pair of games against the Liberty in early August, including a 78-62 outright win as an 11.5-point underdog in the first game of that back-to-back. The Sun are also 7-3 against the spread in their last 10 games as a double-digit underdog.

Angel Reese Under 12.5 Rebounds (-135) vs. Las Vegas Aces

DraftKings Sportsbook, 10:55 a.m. CT

Kirien Sprecher: Reese has surpassed this mark only once since July 8. She'll also have to battle A'ja Wilson on Monday night. The three-time MVP has been on a tear recently, averaging 13.8 boards per game over her last eight appearances. Wilson's rebound total is set at 10.5 (-120). I like those odds better.

Chelsea Gray Over 20.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-132) at Chicago Sky

FanDuel Sportsbook, 11:45 a.m. CT

Daniel Dobish: Gray had a tough time in Washington on Saturday, scoring just five points with six rebounds and eight assists while spending some time in foul trouble. However, she still nearly hit this combo. She should have much more success against the Sky, who have some tall bodies in the middle, but they're also a team hemorrhaging points on defense lately. Over her last six appearances, Gray has averaged 10.7 points, 8.5 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game, and she is a good bet to hit this Over on Monday night.

Chicago Sky +11 vs. Las Vegas Aces (-110)

FanDuel Sportsbook, 4:50 p.m. CT

Jason Shebilske: The Sky have been inconsistent in recent matchups, as they've faced double-digit deficits against the Storm and Sun at home before making it close later in the game while also beating the Liberty on Thursday. The Aces have been a solid team of late, but the Sky will be retiring Candace Parker's number at Wintrust Arena on Monday, so I expect an energetic crowd and a motivated Chicago team that should at least be able to keep the game within single digits for a fourth consecutive matchup.
